It's becoming a place where dreams come true. This site turns average amateurs into stars literally overnight. And fortunately for us marketers it has also become a dream come true. What better way to get your marketing message across to the public than with video. The fact is this site can drive hoards of traffic to yours if you know how to harness the beast. Lucky for you that's exactly what I want to show you.

The first step is to make your video. You can either use a screen capture video or a web cam video starring you. You have to be either funny, sexy or informative. These are the only characteristics that sell. Make sure your movie is short. Keep it around the 30 second to minute and a half range to avoid getting tuned out before your call to action. Make sure your website url is at the bottom of your video at all times. After the actual video creation the next most important part is the keyword optimization of your title and description. You want to use your keyword and similar keywords in your description so that people and google will find you.

After your video is uploaded to youtube there's a couple of things you can do to make your video more search engine friendly and to get it more views. Take advantage of related groups on youtube. Make sure you do not spam any of these. Take it seriously and engage in conversations and share your video. Nothing good ever came from spamming. This way you will also begin to add friends therefore when you make new videos your friends will see them first. You can also add your video url to sites like digg and facebook to help get some links coming into your video, which makes it a lot more google friendly. The last activity you can do to promote your video is to leave video responses on related videos on youtube.

There's no reason you can't start driving leads and traffic to your site with these action steps. To become successful you have to have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
