How to Use Your Goals and Dreams for a Successful Business
By: Shirley van der Laar

Have you ever written down your goals and what you would like to achieve in your life. When you see the written word it makes it that much more real.

Sort out your many fragmented thoughts and really think about what you would like, what you would really like. Then write them down. As you write your dreams down visualize what your life would be like if your dream was a reality. Sometimes it is necessary to change your life and get out of your comfort zone to achieve the dream. Are you prepared to do that?

They may be big visions or small simple ones, but whichever they are you need a plan to achieve them. The more real they are for you the more motivating they will be. The mind sees in pictures so really visualize those dreams.

What is it that will ignite that flame in you? Do you want to work from home, open your own business and be your own boss? Be able to buy your own home and provide all the things your family needs for a good life, without having to spend time every month trying to balance the budget. Think of all the things that would be possible to do if you had unlimited means. Whatever your age you need to have goals and then believe you can achieve them.

Make a list of your goals and grade them according to a time frame i.e. in order of priority. Break them down into smaller parts so that you have a l year, 6 months, 3 months etc time frame. Every huge job is just a lot of small jobs all strung together, so it makes sense that if you have an ambitious goal you break it down into small time frames and do something, in a structured manner, towards achieving your daily goal.

Focus on what you are doing and especially when working on your Internet business, do not try and do everything that comes down the line, as this will put you into a state of overwhelm. Choose an area that you feel comfortable with and become an expert, then move on to the next challenge. That way you build up your confidence and you can keep learning and adding to your expertise.

It is important to keep winning at whatever you are doing and enjoying the journey and then the money will follow. Your beliefs, attitudes, thoughts, feelings and choices will determine how you succeed.
