Many people do not think of all the possibilities of affiliate marketing like to utilize it to create residual income.

By following the following methods, you can create a nice income as an affiliate marketer:

1. You get programs that will pay you not only for the sales you make, but also for sales that people make that you recruit into the program. These are also known as two tier programs.

You can earn a good income from your down line by recruiting serious people that are willing to do what is takes. Eventually you will not have to do much marketing anymore since you have now created ways to make extra money from the sales of your down line every month. Tough job right?

2. You can secure a nice income by marketing programs that have a monthly membership fee. This way you make the sale once and as long as the customer is happy with what he gets, he'll stay with the program and you will get paid. Best of both worlds.

You can also promote website hosting in this manner as an affiliate since people need a host for their websites. And if they are running a business, they won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Result: You get paid for as long as they have their websites.

3. Something else to seriously consider is to create your own product that can be promoted via affiliate marketing. By creating your own ebook and using Clickbank to promote it for instance, you can generate an income every month. You can of course create several products. You can keep creating as long and as often as you want.

4. It is hard work to get legitimate home based businesses up and running, but once it's done you literally don't even have to visit these websites anymore. Many Internet marketers make a packet every month from multiple websites they worked hard at in the beginning but now they are totally automated. They created ways to make extra money from affiliate sales every single month.

You can achieve this by becoming a residual income affiliate and promoting various products and/or services in different niches.

You have to put in many hundreds of hours to get legitimate home based businesses going. But you can certainly generate ways to make substantial extra money by using these four methods as a residual income affiliate.
