7 Ways To Make Your Ad More Believable
By: Jeff Schuman

You can advertise all day long, but if people do not believe what they are reading you're wasting your time and money. In this article we will talk about eight ways you can make your ad more believable to your readers.

Depending on the length of the ad you are running you may, or may not, be able to do more than one of these eight ways. However you want to incorporate as many of them as possible into the available ad space you are working with.

1. Include your picture in the ad to create credibility. This show is you are proud of the product you're selling and not trying to hide in any way. This also allows you to brand yourself as an expert on the product in your offer.

2. Publish results of any surveys you have done. You may want to go ahead and take one from your existing customers if you haven't conducted a survey. Then include some of the results in the advertising as this is a powerful way to make your product more credible.

3. Include testimonials. Do not make these up, but rather include a statement from a satisfied customer. You can even publish your testimonials on a testimonial page and link to it in the ad itself.

4. If your product has passed tests in the past include those in the ad. This could include things like a durability test, quality test, or a safety test. What you are doing it is building up a quality image of the product in your reader's mind.

5. If your product has been written up on other people's blogs, in trade journals, or reviewed in some way include those in your ad. If there are articles that have been written about your product you could include references to those as well.

6. Be sure that the link you are including to your ad is a professional looking web page. If you are sending your traffic to an unprofessional looking page it will reflect badly on the product itself.

7. Put any endorsements from famous people in your ad. If a famous person enjoys your product they a person will think they will too.

8. Tell about your money back guarantee. This shows your potential customers you are standing behind your product and removes the risk factor for them.

In summary these are eight things you can do to make your ad more believable to the reader. Try as many of these as possible and watch your website traffic increase.
